Lia, a gentle young faerie, carries an acorn cup of clean water as if it were a sacred vow, offering comfort to any creature small enough to drink from her hands.
Lia is hand sculpted and painted by myself using polymer clay and acrylic paint. No moulds are ever used in my process, and Lia will never be recreated, she is truly a one-off being, with her own spirit and personality.
Standing at 12cm tall, Lia is a delicate, one-of-a-kind Forest Child. She stands upon a hand sculpted and painted base, finished with natural moss and lichen, as though rooted to the forest floor itself. In her hands she holds a real acorn cup, filled with resin to mimic still, clear water, while her wings are formed from natural leaves.
Lia will arrive with a small illustrated card, featuring her name, her story, and an original drawing of her, created by me to accompany her journey into her new home.
Due to her fine and fragile details, Lia should be handled minimally and kept safe indoors, where she can be properly cared for.
She carries a gentler presence than most, one of patience and kindness, as though she exists to tend and to soothe, waiting for a home that understands her gentle purpose.
These are not simply sculptures, but small, living presences, each Forest Child carries its own magic, waiting to be discovered by the one who takes them home
