Elowen
One-of-a-Kind Forest Child Sculpture
Elowen’s name means Elm Tree, and true to it, she was born high in the fork of one.
For many seasons she lived among its branches, tending to its dwellers. She smoothed the rough edges of cracked twigs, whispered lullabies to young birds, and caught raindrops to offer thirsty creatures below. The forest knew her as a caretaker, one who listened more than she spoke.
In her hands, Elowen carries a small glass jar filled with organic dandelion seeds, wishes gathered gently from the breeze and kept safe until they are needed.
Now she has left the safety of her Elm.
Drawn by a soft pull in her chest, Elowen has followed her instincts here, to you. No one knows why a Pixie would abandon her tree… unless the forest itself has whispered a new purpose.
Elowen is entirely hand sculpted and hand painted by myself, without the use of molds or casts. Every detail has been shaped by hand, making her a true one-of-a-kind artwork, created slowly and with intention. She will never be recreated.
She is suspended from a brass ring, connected by extremely strong wire, allowing her to appear as though she is mid-flight.
