One-of-a-Kind Forest Child Sculpture
Alura is not made of song, as her sea-born cousins are.
She is a Pond Siren, quieter, older, and far less understood. She surfaces only when the air grows heavy with change. Her skin, slick and dappled, mirrors the water that holds her, and many pass by without ever knowing she was watching.
Alura does not speak in words. Her song carries like the call of a distant thrush, warped by water and distance. Folklore says that if you hear it clearly, something in your path will shift. If you meet her gaze you will feel the world tilt, just slightly, do not run.
It only means you have been seen.
Alura is entirely hand sculpted and hand painted by myself, without the use of molds or casts. She is a true one-of-a-kind artwork, created slowly and intentionally, with many hours spent shaping her presence and expression. She will never be recreated.
She is seated within a clear glass bowl, filled with carefully arranged natural elements and resin, forming a contained fragment of her hidden pond, a moment of still water preserved for display.

Alura features extremely fine details and is therefore highly fragile. She is intended strictly for decorative display by adult collectors. This piece is not waterproof and must be kept indoors.
To clean, gently dust only with cotton buds or a very soft, dry paintbrush.
Alura will arrive with her own printed story card and Forest Child adoption papers, marking her passage from the hidden waters of the Forest into her new home.
